Qualification and Compliance Requirements

All nurses and carers placed by Jobnest must meet the following criteria:

For Registered Nurses:

• Valid NMC Pin and Registration
• Minimum 6 months of UK-based clinical experience
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Check (update service preferred)
• Mandatory Training (within 1 year or refreshed via JobNest)
• Proof of Immunisations (MMR, Hep B, TB)
• Clinical Skills Competency (assessed)

For Healthcare Assistants / Carers / Support Workers:

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a care role
• Care Certificate (or equivalent training)
• Right to work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS Check
• Updated Training in:
  • Moving & Handling
  • Medication Awareness
  • Safeguarding Adults
  • First Aid/Basic Life Support
• Professional References (2 minimum)

Note: Our training partners provide in-house training refreshers and induction sessions as needed.
